Alaska has plenty of women playing NCAA D1 soccer, but not many men.
Dylan Faber of Anchorage is one of the few.
The 6-foot sophomore is the starting goalkeeper at Northeastern University and one of the top keepers in the Colonial Athletic Association.
Faber, of West High fame, leads the CAA in saves and shutouts while ranking second in save percentage [.793] and third in goals against average [0.93].
Earlier this season he tied a career high with six saves against Duke University.
Faber played two seasons at West before leaving Alaska for the Darlington School Soccer Academy in Georgia.
