September 8, 2013

After breaking a long scoreless streak in the first game of the season, Sawyer Kisken of Fairbanks had so much fun he did it again.

The University of Chicago midfielder netted his second goal in the second game, a 4-0 win over Benedictine in Lisle, Ill.

He hadn’t scored a goal since 2010 and now he has two in two games.

The 5-foot-7 playmaker also collected an assist in each game to help give him six points this year compared to seven points in his previous 49 career games.

Kisken, of West Valley fame, got started right away against Benedictine with an assist in the fifth minute and a goal in the 15th minute.

It was the opposite against Aurora University when assisted on the game winner in the 64th minute and then caught the keeper away from the goal, scoring from 40 yards out in the 90th minute.
