Wilson playing like RMAC’s best keeper [Soccer]
September 27, 2013
How good has Anchorage’s Jared Wilson been in goal this year?
The Adams State keeper had possibly his worst performance of his college career tonight against Regis – giving up two goals in one half – and still leads the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference in save percentage [.875].
The 6-foot-2 senior has allowed just four goals on 32 shots over 527 minutes and 18 seconds.
Wilson, of East High fame, also leads the RMAC in shutouts [3] and ranks second in saves per game [4.67].
Just two days ago he helped Adams State beat nationally ranked Fort Lewis 1-0, turning aside all nine shots he faced.
