Alaska Sports Hall of Fame

Seattle Pacific striker Blaine Carver of Soldotna took sole possession of eighth-place on the school’s all-time goals list with a score last night.

The senior tallied his second goal of the season and 20th of his illustrious career, making him one of the most prolific college scorers in Alaska history.

This one came in the 82nd minute of a 2-0 win over Montana State Billings after Carver dribbled into the box toward the left side and delivered a shot across the goal and low into the right side.

Carver’s 20 career goals rank him 21st on the GNAC all-time list.
