It took a little bit of time, but Chugiak’s Kelly Cobb finally leads Duke University in scoring and the Blue Devils are going to the ACC women’s soccer tournament.

The junior forward netted two goals and two assists to highlight a 6-3 win over Pittsburgh that clinched the team’s postseason berth.

Cobb, of Chugiak High fame, now leads the team in scoring with 15 points on six goals and three assists in 18 games.

She led the team in scoring as freshman with 11-9—31 totals in 26 games.

Cobb scored against Pitt in just the third minute. She added her second goal in the 23rd minute.

With 19 career goals, Cobb needs just five more to crack the top 10 in school history.
