She got limited opportunities, but Allison Leigh of Palmer made the most of her offensive chances against Fairfield.
The Quinnipiac University freshman middle hitter slammed 10 kills on only 15 attempts for a season-high .600 attack percentage during a three-game loss in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference action in Connecticut.
Leigh, of Colony High fame, is hitting .211 on the season. The 6-foot-5 playmaker leads Quinnipiac with 165 kills and a 1.96 kill-per-set average.
She also leads the MAAC in blocks at 1.24 per set.
