Engel collects first college career double-double for Boise State
November 13, 2013
After struggling in the first game of the season, Keiahnna Engel of Anchorage came back to deliver her first double-double of her college career.
The sophomore starting guard scored 11 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in a 76-68 win over Lewis-Clark State.
Engel, of Dimond High fame, made 3-of-9 shots, incuding one 3-pointer, and sank 4-of-6 free throws.
She was the only player in the game to register at least one assist, one steal and one blocked shot. She did it in just 28 minutes.
Engel, who scored just six points in the season opener, is back this season after missing all of last year with a knee injury.
