Grazulis nets 700th career point for Colorado School of Mines
Another double-double from Allie Grazulis of Palmer helped her move into elite company for the Colorado School of Mines women’s basketball team.
The 5-foot-11 senior forward scored 11 points and grabbed 10 boards in a 63-59 victory over Colorado Christian, giving her career totals of 700 points and 614 rebounds.
Grazulis, of Colony High fame, collected the third-highest single-season rebounding total with 298 last season and is striking distance of climbing into the top five all-time, needing 47 boards to catch No. 5 Mary Meager [1979-1983] and 69 to catch No. 4 Marissa Eichhorn [1998-2002].
Last year she won the rebounding title for the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference with a 10.3 average.
Her single-game career high is 20, tied for the fifth highest in school history.
