January 30, 2014

Freshman Kacy Green of Hooper Bay pumped in a season-high 24 points for Northwest Indian College in a 97-87 loss to Shoreline Community College in Washington.

The former Alaska 2A player of the year sank 8-of-15 shots from the floor, with most of his 3-point misses coming in an attempt to get his team back in the game.

He started at guard and played close to 39 minutes. He also had four rebounds, two assists and a blocked shot.

Last summer, Green helped Team Alaska win its first Native American Basketball Invitational in Phoenix.
