Kauffman heats up during 7-game win streak for Adams State

off seven straight wins and Anchorage’s Justin Kauffman has been a big part of that success.

The 6-foot-2 junior guard scored 14 points in a 102-67 win over Western New Mexico over the weekend, his third double-figure performance in the last five games.

During that stretch he has averaged 12 points on 19-of-35 shooting to lift his average to 9.4 points in 18 games.

Kauffman, of West High fame, has done most of his damage from the perimeter.

He is shooting 46 percent on 3s during the winning streak, highlighted by a 7-for-13 clip over the last three games. His season percentage is .39 percent.
