Bell-Holter collects third career double-double in NBA D-League

Damen Bell HoltereBack in the starting lineup, Damen Bell-Holter of Hydaburg appears to have his swagger back as well.

The 6-foot-9 rookie forward went off for 22 points, 16 rebounds and a couple blocked shots for the Maine Red Claws in a 147-142 loss to Delaware in NBA D-League action today.

He sank 10-of-18 shots and both free throws, coming two points shy of his season high. This was his third career double-double in the NBA D-League, his first since Dec. 27.

Bell-Holter, of Ketchikan High fame, is now the record holder for most points [24] and rebounds [16] by an Alaska player in the NBA D-League.

He is averaging 8.1 points on .467 percent shooting and 4.7 rebounds in 41 games.
