Dunbar wins mile heat at MPSF Championships in Seattle

University of Oregon track star Trevor Dunbar of Kodiak won one of two heat races in the indoor mile at the MPSF Championships in Seattle. Frey, O’Leary swim to Wyoming relay records at WAC Championships

Two Alaska swimmers were part of the fastest 200-yard freestyle relay team in University of Wyoming history. Senior Jeff Frey of Wasilla and junior Ryan O’Leary of Seward helped the Pokes clock a time of 1:19.55 to finish third at the Western Athletic Conference Championships in San Antonio. Sherman-Newsome pops off for career-high 28, secures home game in playoffs
