Griffin solid in defeat for WNBA’s Connecticut Sun

Kelsey Griffin BasketballKelsey Griffin of Eagle River today extended her personal-best starting streak to 36 games with the WNBA’s Connecticut Sun in a 90-88 overtime loss to Minnesota.

The 6-foot-1 power forward logged 29 minutes and her team finished +7 when she was on the court.

She scored eight points on 4-of-10 shooting and added eight rebounds, three assists and two steals.

Griffin, of Chugiak High fame, has started 63 of 135 career games.
