Arlow leads conference in assists for Sterling College

Jenna Arlow VolleyballA player from Alaska is leading the charge for the best volleyball team in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference.

Junior setter Jenna Arlow of Palmer leads the NAIA conference with a career-high 9.6 assists per set. She also leads the league with 316 assists in 33 sets.

Last season she finished third in the KCAC at 8.9 assists per set.

Arlow, of Palmer High fame, had a career-best 51 assists against Avila of Missouri on Aug. 30. She has surpassed the 40-assist mark three times in the last four matches.

She’s also calling her own number, notching at least two kills in all 10 matches, including a career-best seven verses Missouri Valley.

Arlow’s attack percentage is .261, 40 points higher than last year.
