Faber comes in relief, sparks OT win for Northeastern
Dylan Faber of Anchorage did his part as the junior goalkeeper replaced the starter in net at the beginning of the second half and made two saves with a clean sheet.
It was his first win of the season in three games.
Stony Brook took a 2-0 advantage before the Huskies got one back right before halftime, made the switch at goal and then scored twice more in the second half, including nine minutes into OT.
Faber, of West High fame, logged 54 minutes in net.
The 6-footer splits time as the starter, although he has a better save percentage [.722 to .667] and goals against average [1.39 to 1.69].
