Updike runs to All-American finish at NAIA Championships

For the second time this year, the Eastern Oregon University runner eared All-American honors. In May, it was track. This weekend it was cross country.

Updike was second on the team and 23rd out 320 men who finished the NAIA Cross Country Championships in Kansas. He finished the 8K race in 25:59.

Teammate Hans Roelle of Anchorage just missed nabbing All-American recognition after placing 33rd.

Wasilla’s Calvin Edward was seventh for Eastern Oregon, which placed fourth in the team race.
