Bookert hits double figures for fifth straight game for FSU
January 29, 2015
Anchorage’s Devon Bookert continued his strong play in the Florida State backcourt, racking up double figures for the fifth consecutive game and the 11th time in 16 games this season.
The 6-foot-3 starting guard bagged 15 points on 5-of-10 shooting in an 82-76 victory over Wake Forest in the ACC.
Bookert, of West High fame, also made both free throws to raise his season percentage to .938, which would easily lead the conference if he had more attempts. He has made 30 of 32.
He is shooting 39 percent from 3-point range thanks to his recent hot streak in which he has made 14 of his last 32 over the last five games.
The junior needs just two more points to reach 700 for his career.
