Lasher slashes McNeese State for career-high 25 points
His excellent effort powered a 68-56 victory over McNeese State and gave the Huskies their first-ever road win as members of the Southland Conference.
The 6-foot-7 forward sank 10-of-16 field goals, including a pair of 3-pointers. He was also 3-for-3 from the foul line.
Lasher, of Dimond High fame, bumped his scoring average to 12 points in 12 games in this his breakout season.
He had 14 by halftime in this game, and then took over late. His reverse layup pushed the lead to 60-51. In the final two minutes he drove for a short jumper and then sealed the deal with two free throws.
