Tennyson scores season high 17 for Clark College

Bryn Tennyson of Anchorage scored a season-high 17 points for Clark College in an 84-70 win over tonight Pierce College in Washington.

The freshman guard made 6-of-9 field goals, including a season-best four 3-pointers.

Besides shooting the ball well, Tennyson grabbed 5 rebounds, passed off 5 assists and made 4 steals.

Her previous season high was 11. That night she also collected 13 rebounds for her first double-double in college.

Tennyson, of Anchorage Christian fame, is averaging 5.7 points and 5.8 rebounds in 11 games with the junior college.

Clark College features another Alaskan in Megan Pyles of Kodiak. The freshman forward has two double-doubles and a season-high 20 points. She missed tonight’s game.
