Abdul-Bassit makes big defensive play to secure Oregon win

A 3-point shooter by trade, Jalil Abdul-Bassit of Anchorage showed off his defensive skills to help the University of Oregon beat the University of Washington in Eugene.
The 6-foot-4 guard tipped a pass for a steal in the closing seconds to help secure a 78-74 victory in Pac-12 play.
He iced two free throws with one second left as he finished with 9 points.
Abdul-Bassit, of West High fame, played a productive 18 minutes. In addition to his scoring, he had 2 assists, 2 steals, a rebound and a 3-pointer.
He leads the 16-7 Ducks with a .432 3-point shooting percentage.
The senior starter is averaging 8.0 points in 22 games.
Abdul-Bassit needs just one more points to reach 200 for his Oregon career.
