Arlow closes in on 2,500 career assists at Sterling College

Jenna Arlow VolleyballSterling College volleyball player Jenna Arlow of Palmer is closing in on a major milestone.

The senior setter ranks fourth in school history with 2,333 career assists and could eclipse 3,000 before she’s finished.

She racked up 109 assists over the weekend at the OKWU Invitational in Oklahoma, where Sterling College went 4-0 to win the tournament title.

The Kansas team is 7-1 overall this year with the Alaskan running the show.

Arlow, of Palmer High fame, was selected by the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference coaches to the Preseason All-KCAC Volleyball Team. She was a second team pick last year.

She ranks second in the conference this year with 256 assists and leads the league with 19 serving aces.

Arlow is also boasting a .560 attack percentage with 15 kills and one error on 25 hitting attempts. She is a career .240 hitter.
