Joseph starting and scoring double digits for Pacific

Known for his defensive prowess, Michael Joseph of Anchorage is proving he can score a little too.
The junior guard for NCAA D3 Pacific University ranks second on his team in points, rebounds and steals and has pumped in 20 points or more twice.
Joseph, of West High fame, is averaging 12.5 points and 7.2 rebounds in six games for the Boxers in Forest Grove, Oregon.
He scored a career high 21 points against Menlo College. The next game he delivered his first double-double in college with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
The 6-foot-1 starter is playing 31.1 minutes per game.
He is shooting .464 from the field and .462 from 3-point land.
Joseph is a first-year transfer from Columbia Basin College, where he was the team’s defensive player of the year as a sophomore.
