There’s feeling it, and then there’s whatever Anchorage’s Travis Thompson did in Germany over the weekend.

The rookie guard with the Fraport Skyliners drilled 10-of-18 3-pointers and scored a career-high 36 points in a 95-57 win over Licher Baeren.

Thompson, of Dimond High fame, also made 4-of-4 free throws, grabbed four rebounds and had two assists.

He scored 36 in 35 minutes.

The 6-foot-1 playmaker is coming off an All-American career at UAA, where he finished as the No. 2 scorer in school history with 1,667 points. He is also the all-time leader with 302 3s.

Thompson has been an instant success as a pro, averaging a team-best 20 points in his first seven games on 46 percent 3-point shooting [33 for 72].
