Bookert’s play late keys Florida State’s upset of Virginia

Senior Devon Bookert of Anchorage made several key plays down the stretch to help Florida State upset No. 11 Virginia.
The 6-foot-3 guard came off the bench to score nine points in 24 minutes as the Seminoles won 69-62 in Tallahassee, Florida.
Bookert, of West High fame, had a hand in 12 of the team’s final 33 points.
Twice he knocked down huge 3-pointers down the stretch, the second one giving FSU a 60-53 lead with 2:28 to play.
In the final 11 minutes, he accumuliated seven points, two rebounds, two assists and a steal.
After an 0-3 start in the ACC, FSU has won two straight to salvage its season.
