January 12, 2016
For the third time this season, Anchorage’s Dallas Dickerson has been named the Fort Lewis College Student-Athlete of the Week.
The 5-foot-8 sophomore guard exceled for the women’s basketball team in two road losses to Colorado Christian University and Colorado School of Mines.
She led the Skyhawks in scoring [25], rebounds [12] and assists [4].
Dickerson, of ACS fame, drilled 9-of-15 field goals and 3-of-7 3-pointers.
She also made all four free throw attempts to raise her season percentage to .897 – which would rank No. 2 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference if she qualified with more attempts.
Dickerson has reached double figures in eight of 14 games to help double her scoring average from last year [5.1] to this year [10.4].
