Lasher’s return to starting lineup pays immediate dividends
Losing his starting job with Houston Baptist may have been exactly what Colter Lasher of Anchorage needed.
He’s been a beast in the two games since his return.
The 6-foot-7 junior forward has flirted with double-doubles in each of the last two games since being added back to the starting lineup after a three-game demotion to the bench.
Lasher, of Dimond High fame, bagged 16 points and 9 rebounds in tonight’s 109-84 victory over Hillsdale Baptist.
That performance came two days after he collected 15 points and 8 boards in a victory over Lamar that moved Houston Baptist to 7-0 in league.
Lasher made 12-of-21 field goals, including 5-of-8 3s, in the last two games – his best stretch of the season.
He is averaging 9.7 points and 4.9 rebounds in 18 games for the NCAA D1 Huskies.
