Syrup pitches fourth complete game for Southwestern College

Freshman starter Lauren Syrup of Anchorage scattered four hits over five innings of work as the Southwestern College softball team beat Bethel 10-2 in Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference action.
She surrendered just single runs in the fourth and fifth innings.
It was her fourth complete-game performance this season.
Syrup, of West High fame, has pitched 62.1 innings for Southwestern this season. Her record is 4-8.
The month of March has been a big improvement for the right-handed pitcher.
After adjusting to the college game, she has posted a 3-3 record this month and three times pitched five innings or more.
