Samantha Wicks of Anchorage swam her last race for Boise State University.

The senior star finished her final event at the NCAA Championships in Atlanta, Georgia, where she competed in five different events over the week on college swimming’s biggest stage.

This was the third straight year she qualified.

Wicks, of East High fame, finished 31st in the 100 backstroke and 52nd in the 200 individual medley.

She flirted with a top-20 showing in each of her relays, with the 200 free, 400 free and 200 medley relays all placing 22nd.

She won Mountain West Conference swimmer-of-the-year honors this year after having a hand in five conference titles.

For her career, Wicks broke 13 school, pool and conference records and earned all-league recognition 20 times over her final three years.
