Rachael Huffman of Palmer might just be the most versatile track and field athlete at Western Oregon University.

The junior thrower is one of the few women that competes in the discus, hammer, shot put and javelin.

Huffman, of Palmer High fame, finished fourth in the discus at the Willamette Invitational with a mark of 135 feet, 11 inches.

A week before at the Lewis and Clark Spring Break Open she was ninth in the shot put at 38-7 mark.

She just missed the top 10 in the hammer and javelin.
