Alaska’s ‘Slam Sisters’ Tufi and Page strike again for LaTech

Louisiana Tech sluggers Taria Page and Pauline Tufi of Anchorage each homered in the same game for the second time this college softball season.
They each went yard in the same inning, just one batter a part, in a 7-2 win over Southern Mississippi in Conference USA action at LaTech.
Just call them Slam Sisters.
Tufi, batting third, hit a solo shot to left field to lead off the third inning.
One out later, Page, hitting fifth, blasted a bomb to center.
Tufi, of West High fame, has 11 home runs in 40 games this season, which is one behind the team leader.She is also second in with 36 RBIs and a .617 slugging percentage. She is hitting .278.
Page, of East High fame, has four homers in 43 games. She is batting .290.
Page has 29 RBIs in just 69 at-bats, one of the best ratios in the country.
Together, the two Alaskans have combined for 26 percent of LaTech’s total RBIs this season.
