Lewis picks up 50th career tennis win for Eckerd College

Eddie Lewis of Anchorage has been directly tied to the progression of the Eckerd College tennis team.

The junior has increased his individual victory total in each of his three seasons in St. Petersburg, Florida. At the same time the NCAA D2 school has increased its win total.

Lewis, of South High fame, finished tied for second on his team with 11 singles wins to go along with a career-high 13 doubles wins.

Overall, he has 50 career victories – 25 in singles, 25 in doubles.

Eckerd College has improved its record from 4-12 his freshman season to 6-11 his sophomore season to 12-9 this season.

Lewis is part of one of Alaska’s best brother=sister combination on the tennis court. His older sister Emma won 125 combined matches for D3 Bowdoin College.
