Oleson, Barcelona fall into 2-1 hole in Spanish League Finals
Brad Oleson of North Pole came off the bench to play 13 minutes and score five points.
Barcelona is now in position of having to win the final two games of the best-of-5 series.
The two teams finished tied atop the Spanish League standings at 29-5 after the regular season.
Oleson, of North Pole High fame, has pumped in 12 points in the three Finals games, including six in a 100-99 Game 1 win.
At 32, the former UAF All-American has slowed a bit but he’s still utilized as a formidable perimeter defender and 3-point specialist for one of the best teams in the one of the best leagues in the world.
Earlier this year, Oleson surpassed 2,500 career points in the Spanish League since making his debut in 2008.
He also has collected four championship rings since turning pro in 2002, including three in Spain, so don’t discount this guy’s killer instinct and appetite for victory.
