Overbaugh signs with Rams, invited to first NFL training camp
The undrafted rookie long snapper out of San Diego State signed with the team to fill a vacated roster spot.
Overbaugh, of Service High fame, had been attending offseason workouts on a tryout basis.
Now he’s on the team – at least for now. He will participate in next week’s three-day minicamp in California.
At San Diego State, he was perfect on all 510 career snaps on field goals, punts and extra points.
Overbaugh has to beat out a veteran long snapper to make the team’s final 53-man roster and collect his rookie salary.
