July 31, 2016
Anchorage’s Zoe Hickel will return to the Boston Pride of the National Women’s Hockey League.
The 24-year-old forward helped the team win the Isobel Cup last season in the league’s inaugural season.
Hickel, of South High fame, accounted for three goals and four assists in 15 games. She missed two months of the season with a concussion.
Boston general manager Hayley Moore announced that Hickel intends to rejoin the Pride.
Hickel also helped Team USA win the world championship for the second straight season last year as well.
“We look forward to signing our contracts this week and helping advance the league to new heights in our second season,” Hickel tweeted.
