Fenumiai accounts for 343 all-purpose yards, 3 TDs for WOU

Juneau’s Phillip Fenumiai accumulated a career-high 343 all-purpose yards in Western Oregon University’s 48-42 victory over Humboldt State in Arcata, California.
The junior quarterback completed 11-of-21 passes for a career-high 262 yards and three touchdowns. He threw scoring strikes 36, 46 and 27 yards in the first, second and third quarters.
He also matched his career high with 81 yards on the ground.
His 262 yards marked the first time he surpassed the 200-yard barrier and was nearly 100 yards more than his previous career high of 169 set two weeks ago.
Fenumiai, of Juneau-Douglas High fame, has completed 41-of-77 passes for 574 yards in four games this season. He has six touchdowns compared to just two interceptions.
