Last Frontier transplant Trevithick commits to UCLA for 2019

Kali Trevithick of Anchorage spends the majority of her time outside the state training with the U.S. National U-16 women’s soccer team.

But she still considers Alaska home.

Soon she will call UCLA home.

The marvelous midfielder has committed to the Bruins for 2019. She is a sophomore in high school and plays for the San Diego Surf club team.

Trevithick is also a member of the national U-16 team that is currently in the Netherlands for a training camp and three matches, one of which will be against the Netherlands U-17 Women’s National Team.

This age group is in the second year of a two-year cycle before becoming the U-18s and then the U-20s with the goal of playing in the 2020 FIFA Under-20 Women’s World Cup.
