With 32 passing TDs, Feckley ranks No. 1 nationally in D3

It’s one thing for a quarterback to lead the nation in touchdown passes for a week, but Conor Feckley of Anchorage has done it since the first week of the season.

The University of Dubuque junior leads NCAA D3 football with 32 touchdown passes after throwing for four more in a 43-35 loss to Wartburg in Dubuque, Iowa.

Feckley, of West High fame, has amassed 3,002 total yards in nine games, leading the Spartans to a 7-2 record with one more game left in the regular season.

He has thrown for 2,776 yards on a 57-percent completion rate. He has a 4-to-1 touchdown to interception ratio.

Feckley opened the season with an epic 8-TD, 634-yard performance – the fifth most passing yards in D3 history.

He has kept it going, averaging 308 yards per game and ranking nationally in passing scores and yards.

He has added 102 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.
