Smelker nets goal, assist as NWHL’s Boston stays unbeaten

Anchorage’s Jordan Smelker scored an insurance goal and assisted on the third goal as the Boston Pride beat the Connecticut Whale 3-0 to stay undefeated in the National Women’s Hockey League.

It was the first two-point game of the season for the 23-year-old forward as Boston improved to 5-0.

Smelker, of Service High fame, has recorded 23 points in 23 career NWHL games on 11 goals and 12 assists.
