When the Notre Dame de Namur University men’s basketball team needs a bucket, it puts the ball in the hands of Anchorage’s Tre’Shawn King-Dunbar.

Good things usually happen.

The 6-foot-1 senior guard is the top playmaker for the NCAA D2 Argonauts of Belmont, California.

He leads the team in points [14.0] and assists [3.0] as well as minutes [30.8] in five games.

King-Dunbar, of Bartlett High fame, is coming off his best two-game stretch of the season when he pumped in 21 points and hit 4-of-8 3s against Hawaii-Hilo and 16 points, four assists and three steals against BYU-Hawaii.

The 21-point effort was just one off his career high.
