Kuiper splashes four 3s in big night for CSU-Pueblo senior
December 17, 2016
It wasn’t Senior Night at Colorado State University-Pueblo, but it probably felt like it for Braydon Kuiper of Wasilla.
The senior forward logged extended playing time and pumped in a dozen points as the Thunder Wolves beat up Western State 103-80 in NCAA D2 men’s basketball action.
Kuiper, of Wasilla High fame, enjoyed his greatest shooting night after sinking 4-of-5 3-pointers.
The 6-foot-7 shooter was especially strong all-around in the second half, when he pumped in nine points in 11 minutes and added three rebounds, three assists and a steal.
The 12 points was one shy of his career high set last season and marked the fourth time he reached double figures in 70 career games with CSU-Pueblo.
