Calloway remains bright spot for struggling Walla Walla squad

It’s been a tough season for the Walla Walla University men’s basketball team, but that hasn’t stopped Alec Calloway of Juneau from playing hard.
The 6-foot-5 small forward has reached double figures in 15 of 21 games for the NAIA team from the state of Washington.
Calloway, of Juneau-Douglas High fame, leads the team in scoring [13.8] and rebounding [5.4] and ranks second with a .522 field-goal percentage.
He has as many double-doubles [3] as the team does wins.
Calloway has reached the 20-point plateau three times, highlighted by his 23 points against New Hope Christian College.
