Anchorage’s Ramon Harris has found new life with the Grand Rapids Drive.

His scoring and rebounding averages have improved, he’s already hit a game-winning shot and recently he flirted with his career high for points.

The 6-foot-7 forward and fifth-year NBA D-League veteran pumped in seven 3-pointers on his way to scoring 21 points.

He’s now reached 20 points five times in 13 games since signing with Grand Rapids last month – he did not have a single 20-point effort in 12 games with his old team, the Iowa Energy.

Harris, of West High fame, has seen his numbers improve across the board with the change of scenery.

His minutes have gone from 18.1 to 26.8; his points per game from 6.3 to 8.5; his rebounds per game from 3.6 to 4.6; the number of 3-pointers from 16 to 25.

Harris, 28, is the all-time Alaska scoring leader in the D-League with 1,506 career points.
