She might have been swimming on the Boise State B squad, but Eagle River’s Emmie Jennings brought her A-game to the NCAA D1 tri-meet in Los Angeles, California.

The sophomore turned in a terrific performance in the women’s 400-yard freestyle relay, where she helped the Boise State B team earn the third-fastest time among the 11 squads and beat UCLA’s B team and the Kansas A team.

Jennings, of Chugiak High fame, also participated in the 100 butterfly, 50 free and 200 medley relay.

She was sixth out of 14 starters in the 50 free with a time of 24.05 and eighth out of 13 starters in the 100 fly in 58.45. Her 200 medley relay team finished sixth.
