Bell-Holter snags sixth double-double in win for Italian pro team
The 6-foot-9 forward recorded his sixth double-double of the season but the first since Jan. 6 with a 16-point, 10-rebound effort to spark an 87-84 over Treviglio in a matchup between potential playoff teams.
Both clubs are tied for fourth place at 13-10 in Italy’s second division, which is extremely close with seven teams within one game of each other in the standings. Agrigento has won nine of its last 12 games.
Bell-Holter, of Ketchikan High fame, is averaging 13.2 points and 7.5 rebounds in 23 games.
He is shooting .497 from the field, .344 from 3-point land and .727 from the charity stripe.
