McCullough pumps in season-high 23 points for Peninsula

The freshman guard doubled his scoring and assist averages with a 23-point, 6-assist performance to highlight an 88-79 victory that kept Peninsula in sole possession of first place in the North Region.
McCullough, of Monroe Catholic fame, is now averaging 10.7 points and 3.8 assists in 21 games.
He has drained at least one 3-pointer in 10 straight games, including a 6-for-6 effort against Skagit Valley.
The 5-foot-10 guard is shooting .421 [48-for-114] from deep.
McCullough has bumped his scoring average to 16.6 over his last five games as the Peninsula Pirates have gone 4-1.
