Dickinson State slugger Sagan Osborne of Anchorage has produced back-to-back NAIA baseball seasons with at least 40 RBIs.

The senior third baseman actually has driven in more runs this year [42] than last year [41] in 14 fewer games.

Osborne, of Dimond High fame, is now chasing the venerable 50-RBI mark.

The 6-foot-3 right-hander hitter has a shot at reaching the magic number.

Osborne is bashing the ball this year, thanks to a career-high 10 home runs and .415 batting average in 38 games.

Osborne isn’t just a power hitter; he’s also got a career-best 10 stolen bases this year and has succeed on 15-of-17 attempts over the last two years.

Not a lot of Alaskans play college baseball. Fewer reach double digits in home runs or stolen bases. He could be the first to do both in the same season.
