The sophomore midfielder scored the game-winning goal in the 68th minute to secure a 1-0 win over Northwest Christian in Springfield, Oregon.
Waite, of Service High fame, has two goals on five shots on net this year for the NAIA Raiders of Ashland, Oregon.
Southern Oregon improved to 3-0 all-time when the Alaskan scores dating to last year.
