Anchorage’s Pindo Drammeh grabbed 10 rebounds, including a few huge boards late in the game that set up the go-ahead points, to key Clarke’s 79-76 win over Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana.

The 6-foot-9 center finished with 10 points to complete his first double-double in seven games with his new NAIA team from Iowa.

With his team trailing virtually the entire second half, Drammeh went to work by cleaning the glass and using his rebounds to help set up points on the other end of the floor.

At the 9:03 mark, his board led to a 3-pointer that cut the lead from 7 to 4. At 7:13, his handy work led to another 3 that gave Clarke the lead at 66-65. And at 5:20 his rebound led to a bucket that extended the lead to 70-65.

Drammeh, of Service High fame, finished with five offensive rebounds and five defensive rebounds. It was the second straight game with 10 boards.

The junior transfer is averaging 8.1 points and 4.7 rebounds in 19.5 minutes.

He leads the team with five blocked shots coming off the bench.
