Anchorage’s Nathan Fromm was a dunk machine in high school, but his all-around game was overshadowed.

It’s come to light in college.

The Western Wyoming Community College freshman has found different ways to score and already reached the 20-point plateau in two straight games, both times flirting with a double-double.

The 6-foot-4 starting forward collected 20 points, nine rebounds and six assists in a 112-51 win over Colorado Northwestern CC in Rock Springs, Wyoming.

“That game really helps my confidence because it’s a whole new level and environment, and I know I can be successful at this level,” Fromm told me.

Fromm, of Service High fame, sank 10-of-16 field goals.

“No 3s but I did have a dunk,” he said.

The game before he had 20 points and eight rebounds in a 91-83 loss to Snow College.

“I give all credit to my coach and teammates for putting me in positions to be successful,” Fromm said.
