Just give Whitman’s Trevor Osborne of Anchorage the Sixth Man Award in the Northwest Conference.

The 3-point specialist comes off the bench to log crucial minutes, hit big shots and average double figures for the NCAA D3 Blues in Walla Walla, Washington.

He was at it again in No. 1 Whitman’s 119-93 road win over Redlands when he delivered 15 points in 23 minutes and matched his career high with six rebounds.

The 9-0 Blues are the top-ranked D3 men’s basketball squad in the country.

The 6-foot-2 sophomore guard made 6-of-10 field goals, including 3-of-7 from downtown.

Osborne, of Grace Christian High fame, has made three or more 3s five times and has at least one triple in all nine games this season.

He ranks sixth in the Northwest Conference with 24 threes and 12th with a .414 season percentage.

Osborne is averaging a career-best 11.6 points per game.
